Camping Vitznau is situated in the small village of the same name, above and overlooking Lake Luzern, with splendid views across the water to the mountains on the other side. It is a small, neat and tidy site very close to the delightful village on the narrow, winding, lakeside road. The 70 touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes (max length 8 m) have 15A electricity available, and all have fine views. They are on level, grassy terraces with hardstanding for motorhomes and separated by tarmac roads. There are separate places for tents. Trees provide shade in parts, and this delightful site makes an excellent base for exploring around the lake, the town of Luzern and the nearby mountains. A number of small chalet-style camping huts are available for hire.

The single, well constructed sanitary block provides free hot showers (water heated by solar panels). (steep site and access roads). Full laundry facilities. Gas supplies. Motorhome services. Shop and snack bar. General room for wet weather. Games room. Small heated swimming pool and children’s splash pool (Seasonal). WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Camping Vitznau

From motorway exit A24 Küssnacht along the lake towards Weggis and Vitznau. In the village at the large church turn uphill. Then follow the signs. Do not drive according to navigation in the village, please note signs.
