If simple and peaceful camping is for you, Silva may fit the bill. Owned by the same family for many years, it is set alongside the excellent Cavallino beach. The site offers 256 touring pitches (45-60 sq.m), all with 6A electricity available. They are on sand and grass with a canopy of mature trees providing shade. Some of the pitches are superbly placed, just feet from the beach. There is no sophisticated entertainment here, but there is a pleasant bar and restaurant/pizzeria, and a basic shop. A simple play area is at the beach end of the site and there are umbrellas and loungers for hire on the safe beach. We enjoyed our stay here away from the noise generated by the larger sites neaby. It is great, back to basics camping and the reasonable rates are attractive.

Facilities at Camping Silva

Three refurbished toilet blocks provide clean, unsophisticated facilities. A mix of British and squat style toilets and hot water throughout. Separate accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Washing machine. Shop. Bar, restaurant/pizzeria. Play area. Direct access to excellent beach. Accommodation to rent. WiFi in bar area (free).

Directions to Camping Silva

Travelling east on the A4 (Milan-Trieste) take exit for Quarto d’Altino. Follow directions for Portegrandi and Jesolo. In Jesolo follow the signs for Cavallino. Site is signed from there.
