Relaxing amidst the tall pines of this ten-hectare hillside site is pleasant, but if you are looking for more activity there are many cycle ways and walks to enjoy in the lovely local countryside. The site provides over 480 pitches (280 with 6A electricity) with trees giving shade. Some pitches are level but for many you will need levelling blocks. Some site roads are a little steep so care is needed and also while travelling on the local main roads through the woods (keep to speed limits) as the occasional wild boar ventures out onto the roads. The entrance area is decked with flowers and a blaze of colour when in bloom and very welcoming.

There are tables and chairs outside the reception and bar for sitting out in the evening sun. There is no pool on the site but the beach is 600 m. away over a steep dune (with lifeguards in high season). This site would particularly suit fit young adults and those interested in walking and cycling to explore the countryside.

Seven toilet blocks (not all open all season) spread well around the site offer satisfactory facilities with showers and washbasins in cubicles, Accessible facilities (although some may find the roads on site a little steep). Motorhome service area. Laundry facilities. Bar/brasserie (1/5-30/9). Restaurant (1/6-30/9). Shop. Play area. TV/games room. Some evening entertainment in season. Internet access. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted.

Directions to Camping Sandaya Le Truc Vert

From Bordeaux take D106 towards Lège-Cap Ferret. Continue on D106 through town and in Les Jacquets, just before village sign for Le Petit Piquey, turn right. Follow through residential area and woods for 4 km. Site is on left.
