The views from the facilities at this site are stunning, over the rolling hills and coast. ‘The great outdoors’ describes this campsite which is away from any tourist over-development and is at one with nature. The natural and informal pitches sit on the hillside above a superb bay with sheltered water, fine silver sand and safe swimming. Pitches have varied shade from foliage. Large boulders make natural divisions and some pitches need long leads for the 6A electricity. The beach is a 400 m. walk down a rough track through the maquis.

Once down the track the walk is well worth while as the beach is wonderful. This site is unsuitable for disabled campers if they wish to use the beach. The restaurant/bar complex is very comfortable and the small infinity swimming pool (no lifeguard) gives more excellent views over the bay. This is a great natural campsite. The facilities are central and include a pizzeria restaurant and lively bar. There is evening entertainment but all noise and car movement ceases at 22.00 so this is also a good site for families. The shop is so well stocked you will not need to leave the site for domestic shopping.

Three excellent, modern toilet blocks are very clean and offer hot water throughout, hot showers and single sex British style toilets. Accessible facilities . Motorhome services. Shop. Pizza restaurant. Bar. Beach bar. Infinity swimming pool. Play area. Games room. Electronic games. Entertainment and family activities. Torches are essential here. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Camping Rondinara

Site is midway between Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio off the T10. Take the D158 to Baie de la Rondinara for 7 km. (site is well signed). The road is rough and narrow but large units will have no trouble negotiating it.
