Situated half way between Saint Georges and Saint Denis and only 300 m. from the long sandy beach, this is a small site where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. There are 135 pitches, 60 are for touring units and the remainder are for mobile homes and chalets, some of which are for hire. Pitches are level, open and easily accessible with 10A electricity. There is a comfortable bar with television and a small shop. Bread and Viennoiserie are delivered fresh each morning. Bicycles can be hired on site and you can go off exploring the island on one of the numerous cycle routes. Torches may be useful.

There is a small programme of entertainment in July and August. Electric and gas barbecues are allowed on pitches and there are charcoal barbecue areas set aside for communal use. The Ile d’Oleron has much to offer the visitor, from the nature reserve to museums, citadels, historic buildings and the many opportunities for sporting activities. It has plenty of shops, restaurants and street cafés. Fort Boyard and the lighthouse at Chassiron are nearby.

Directions to Camping les Seulières

After crossing the bridge onto the island, continue on D734 towards St Denis. Go through Cheray, turning left in the direction of Chaucre then continue on the coastroad towards ST; Denis d'Oléron. You will find camping les Seulières on the right on Rue des Seulieres, towards Plage des Huttes.
