Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Soleil
Neatly and attractively landscaped, Le Soleil has 158 level pitches amongst trees and shrubs. Numbered and marked with low wooden fences, many have electricity (10A). Those in a circular, central area are designed for motorhomes with part gravel hardstanding. There may be some noise from the road and an industrial area nearby, but accessibility to the amenities of the town balance this to a degree (five minutes to grassy picnic areas by the harbour and 20 minutes to the town centre shops, restaurants and bars or to the beach). Very busy in high season, reservation is advised.
A half hourly bus service to town runs from outside the site and a ferry service across the harbour to town.
Facilities at Camping le Soleil
Two toilet blocks provide British and squat style toilets, pre-set hot water, some washbasins in cabins and 12 hot and 2 cold showers, all opening from the outside. Accessible facilities. Launderette near. Delivery vans call with bread, milk, etc. Boules. Barbecue areas, plus an area for dogs.
Directions to Camping le Soleil
