Alan Rogers Review of Camping Laspaúles
This friendly family run campsite is situated on the outskirts of Laspaúles, within walking distance of all amenities. The 85 level grass pitches (70 sq.m) have electricity (6/10A) and access to water points. Some 15 season pitches are mainly confined to the first two rows. The well maintained site offers pitches on well-kept grass under scattered trees with pleasant shade. The pitches are not separated by hedges or bushes. This is an advantage if you want space, but less so if you are looking for privacy. Some rental accommodation is available.
Horse riding, kayaking, rafting and paragliding are among the activities available around Camping Laspaúles. You’d best pack your walking boots too, as there are miles of hiking trails in the surrounding mountains and parks.
Retreat to the site for refreshing dips in the outdoor swimming pool. If the kids aren't worn out enough there is a playground and multisports pitch. You wont have to go too far to refuel with the on site restaurant that offers traditional meals and homemade desserts, snack and smaller dishes. If you’d like to cook up your own supper on a barbecue, pick up all the vitals including fresh bread and meats from the on-site shop.
Facilities at Camping Laspaúles
One newly renovated toilet block has hot showers. Baby changing in the ladies. Accessible facilities, and laundry equipment are in main building adjacent to shop. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Swimming pool and children’s pool. Play area. Games room (above reception). WiFi area and library. Communal barbecue - no charcoal on pitches.
