This former municipal site is ideally situated for those wishing to break their journey or to combine a stopover with a visit to Tours and some of the surrounding châteaux. It is on the N10 just 15 km. south of the city but lies back from the road, so is not too noisy. There are 108 touring pitches of which 100 have electricity (6A); there are also eight mobile homes for hire. The site is on the bank of the River Indre, on the edge of the town of Montbazon, with shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

Facilities at Camping La Vallée de L'Indre

Central sanitary block has controllable showers and some washbasins in cubicles. Accessible facilities (a fairly long ramp has been provided). A second smaller block also has laundry facilities. Bar, snack bar with takeaway and a smart restaurant. Small, heated swimming pool (1/5-30/9). Fishing. Club for children (5-12 yrs) in high season.
