Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Pinède
Camping la Pinède offers 185 touring pitches, all with 4-16A electricity and is planted throughout with gum trees. The pitches are marked and level and there is access for large units in some areas. Water points are spread around the site and everything is kept tidy and clean. Under the mature trees it can be quite dark but there are plenty of alternative places in the light. The site is divided into areas of accommodation – pitches for tour operators, mobile homes and tourers. Unusually, all amenities are in separate buildings. There is a very small pool, oddly sectioned and a restaurant which some may find expensive.
The shop is well stocked and the restaurant, in an attractive building with a small bar, offers a dish of the day. A huge play area for children is fenced and very safe. English and Dutch are spoken at the fascinating old building that houses an efficient reception.

Three well maintained and well placed concrete sanitary buildings offer hot showers, Accessible facilities, and unisex toilets and showers. Washing machines. Motorhome services. Shop (June-Sept). Bar. Restaurant (May-Sept). Swimming pool (no lifeguard). Play area. Tennis. Minigolf (charged). WiFi (charged). Overnight parking for late arrivals.
Directions to Camping la Pinède
Site is north of Calvi off the T30, just south of the road to the airport. Look for signs off the roundabout after the Casino Supermarket. turn left here onto Route de la Pinède and take care along a narrow road with leaning fir trees. Site is off this road
