La Clairière du Verbamont is located within a clearing in the Darney forest, just a 10-minute drive from the Vosges department town of Claudon. This small campsite has 6 touring pitches with electric hook-up points.
With Direct access to footpaths from the campsite, Owners Cécile and Christophe will equip you with a map and guide you through their favourite routes, such as the charming L’Arboretum de la Hutte, where there are towering sequoia trees and a centuries-old Douglas fir. After exploring the area on foot, you can enjoy the tranquil setting and stargaze under the night sky or gather around the communal campfire and meet fellow campsite guests. When feeling hungry, you can fire up the barbecue or try baking in the shared outdoor kitchen. Don't miss the opportunity to join Christophe for a fun-filled pizza night held regularly during high season.
Venture into Claudon to take the plunge from the 43-meter-high Pont Tatal (with a bungee cord, of course) or head to Fontenoy-le-Château for a competitive paintball match.
