Alan Rogers Review of Camping Fontisson
Camping Fontisson is west of Avignon, close to the pretty Provençal village of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne. The site is well located for visiting the Luberon and close to the fascinating city of Avignon and its Palais des Papes. There are 55 pitches here, 24 of which are occupied by mobile homes, chalets and equipped tents (available for rent). Pitches are large and generally well shaded and all have 10A electrical connections. On-site amenities include a swimming pool, as well as a tennis court and minigolf. During the high season there is a regular activity and entertainment programme.
Surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields, there is a relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind. The village centre is 800 m. and contains a good choice of shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as the ruins of the feudal château which give the village its name.

Recently refurbished toilet block. Bar and snack bar (July/Aug). Bread and milk service. Outdoor swimming pool (mid May-Sept). Tennis. Multisports field. Boules. Play area. Entertainment and activity programme. WiFi throughout (charged).
Directions to Camping Fontisson
Leave the A7 motorway at exit 23 (Avignon North). Head south on the D6 bypassing St Saturnin-lès-Avignon to Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne. The site is well signed from here.
