Camping d'Auberoche is a family-friendly campsite in Bassillac et Auberoche, Dordogne, France. It is situated in the heart of the countryside near Périgueux, in the Périgord Noir region, and at the edge of the Auvézère River. On-site, 53 flat grassy touring pitches with electrical hook-up points are available, delimited by mature hedges and tall trees that provide ample shade.
On-site facilities include an outdoor swimming pool where you can relax and take a dip on a hot summer day. There is plenty for the kids to enjoy while staying here, such as a playground with a trampoline and bouncy castle, table tennis, and table football. There is no restaurant on-site at Camping d'Auberoche. However, there is a snack bar that sells a variety of food, including pizzas, burgers, fries, ice cream, and cold drinks. The campsite doesn't have a shop, but During peak season, they have a butcher who visits weekly and offers fresh bread daily. Food trucks also visit regularly during the high season, offering various foods. Entertainment is held on occasion, too, with live music and themed evenings.
The campsite is close to several interesting towns and villages, such as Hautefort, Sarlat, Tourtoirac, and Montignac. You can also visit the Lascaux Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
