This site is in a good position, 8 km. south of La Rochelle and with a small sandy beach just 100 m. from the site. The larger beaches at Aytre and Chatelaillon are 3 km. This is a family-run site and a warm and friendly welcome awaits visitors. Of the 240 pitches, 192 are for touring units and the remainder are used for chalets which are to rent. The pitches are mainly open, level and a few have views over the sea. Electricity supply is 10A and many have water and drainage. There are attractive indoor and outdoor pools, together with a toboggan and a wellness centre. The site is divided into two areas, one on each side of the road.

There is also a large well equipped, adventure type play area which will keep the young ones happy for hours. In July and August, a varied entertainment programme is provided for all the family. Many guests return year after year to enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The area offers many activities, from water sports to cultural visits, the oyster beds and of course the brandy houses at Cognac.

Attractive indoor (charged July/Aug) and outdoor swimming pools. Toboggan. Well equipped wellness centre including sauna, jacuzzi, solarium, spa and gym. Playground. Minigolf. Multisports area. Football pitch. Volleyball. Fridge hire. Internet access. Entertainment (July/Aug). WiFi on part of site (free).

Directions to Camping a la Corniche

Leave N137 at exit for Angoulins and La Jarne on to the D202. On entering Angoulins follow deviation signs for lorries. Go over level crossing. Follow campsite signs as far as village end sign. Site is on left. Park in area on right and sign in first.
