Under new management, this picturesque and tranquil site is ideally situated for an overnight stop, and you are guaranteed a warm welcome and a pleasant stay. Formerly a Caravan Club site, it is set in the rural grounds of the Stanford Hall Estate, just a mile from the M1/M6/A14 interchange. There are 123 pitches (30 of which are seasonal), 70 on grass and 56 on hardstanding, all with 16A electricity. There are no shower or toilet facilities on the park, so your unit must be self contained. Tents are not accepted. Nearby Denham station takes you into Marylebone, with easy access to the underground system, stopping at Wembley Stadium, the venue for extensive sporting and music events. It is also well located for exploring the North Downs and is situated on the Pilgrim’s Way. There are 181 touring pitches, all with 16 amp electricity connections. Most pitches are on well-kept grass and there are also 71 hardstandings. Given the proximity of the M25 and M23 motorways, this is a convenient stop en route to and from Dover. Care must be taken to follow the campsites directions, rather than sat nav as many of the approaches to the site are width/height restricted. There are numerous walks and cycle routes to explore in the area. The site has undergone extensive renovations (2020) including the refurbishment of the upper amenity block and a new amenity block in the lower part of the site. 3 accommodation units are available to rent.
Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Brighton is without doubt the South of England’s most popular seaside resort, and Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club’s site is a first class base from which to enjoy the many and diverse attractions, both in the town and this area of the south coast. A wide tarmac road winds its way through the site from reception, with gravel pitches on either side, leading to terraces with grass pitches on the lower slopes of the valley. The 180 pitches all have 16A electricity, 129 have hardstanding and 13 have water, drainage and TV sockets. Three grass terraces take 25 tents and these have hard parking nearby as a low fence prevents cars being taken onto the camping areas. 10 camping pods and 2 Airstreams to hire.
Honeybridge Park
This is a lovely site on the edge of the South Downs with easy access to the coast, a great location to spend some time or, as I did as an overnight before catching the Newhaven/Dieppe ferry just 29 miles away from the port. The site is divided into mobile homes/lodges, both residential and rental, and 150 touring pitches in the other section of the site.  Some pitches are separated by low hedging, others open. The site has a slight slope so that levelling may be required on certain pitches. All pitches have 16amp, and you can choose between a standard, serviced, or super pitch, ensuring there's a perfect spot for everyone.  There are also specific pitches for those with reduced mobility.

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park
A small and secluded garden site for adults only, Bath Chew Valley has been developed with much tender love and care by the Betton family, who are rightly proud of their David Bellamy Gold award. Hardstanding pitches are sited amongst colourful beds of flowers, shrubs and trees. Cars are tucked away on the nearby car park, providing a tranquil and restful atmosphere. An area of woodland is adjacent with an enclosed dog walking area called Puppies’ Parade. The warden will assist you in placing your caravan.
Cheddar Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Cheddar Caravan and Motorhome Club Site is situated on the very edge of Cheddar Village and boasts magnificent views of the Mendips and surrounding countryside - an absolute walker's paradise. Amenities in the village include a variety of shops, pubs and takeaways. Cheddar Caves and Gorge and the famous Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company are all within easy walking distance of the site. With Wookey Hole Caves and Mill and England's smallest city of Wells just a short drive away, you are sure to have plenty to see and do during your stay. The site has 68 grass or hardstanding pitches all with 16 amp electricity.
Cheddar, Mendip Heights Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Cheddar Mendip Heights Camping and Caravanning Club site is half a mile north west from the village of Priddy. There are picturesque views across the Mendip fields with their characteristic dry stone walling. It has a simple charm with field margins kept natural to encourage wildlife, and nest boxes in the mature trees edging the three fields that make up the site. These provide space for 90 units, some on slightly sloping short grass, with 76 electric hook-ups (16A), 37 with hardstanding. Historic Priddy is the highest village in the Mendips and is popular for its folk festival in July.
Brook Lodge Farm
Brook Lodge Farm, a small award-winning site, in the heart of Wrington Vale with delightful views across to the Mendips. With just 29 informal pitches, all with electricity, in the main field and space for a further 15 in the paddock. Five pitches are seasonal, and five more provide hardstandings. A winner of the Green Tourism Gold award and a regular finalist in the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism awards. Trout fishing is just 2 miles away, and there are numerous walking and cycling routes available. Two play areas are available for children. Debbie House, the director, has many plans to improve the experience of campers in what is already a delightful site. The North Somerset coast is within travelling distance, as is Cheddar, Wells and Wookey Hole

Crealy Meadows Caravan & Camping Park
Crealy Meadows is a new park in rural Devon developed by the owners of Crealy Adventure Park and situated adjacent to it. The multi-million pound investment has resulted in a well planned, purpose built park with excellent facilities. At present there are 99 serviced touring pitches (16A electricity, water and drainage) on neatly cut, level grass, and 21 hedged ‘super’ pitches (144 sq.m) with hardstanding. There are also pre-sited lodge tents in superbly themed safari camp and medieval village settings. These are really rather special and very well equipped with woodburning stoves and sinks. The safari tents even boast a sleeping cupboard.
Kennford International Caravan Park
Kennford International Holiday Park is the ideal base from which to explore Devon's glorious countryside, including the famous Dartmoor National Park. It has regular events throughout the year, towns and villages to take in, the famous Dartmoor ponies to spot and Dartmoor Zoo with meerkats, monkeys and lions. Bring your binoculars if you are a birdwatcher, a few miles away is a Site of Special Scientific Interest the Exe Estuary: watch oystercatchers showing excellent culinary taste in breaking open mussels at Bull Hill or take a trip to the nature reserve at Dawlish Warren at the estuary’s mouth.
