This is a traditional site with a good pool. There are about 250 pitches, all under tall, shady poplar and eucalyptus trees; cars are parked in a secure area away from the pitches. It is a secluded site and a stretch of sandy/pebbly Blue Flag (2013) beach is reached directly via a tunnel under the road (some road noise). A large power station is visible from the beach and this is fairly close to the site. This is a very modest site which may suit some campers as an overnight stop. We do not consider this site as suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Some staff in reception, the shop, bar and restaurant speak English. There are many apartments and bungalows on site but in a separate area.

Four toilet blocks, some with free hot water. Accessible facilities, Shop. Bars. Restaurant. Pizzeria. Swimming pools. Most facilities open from July. Private beach. Outdoor swimming pool, Tennis. Small football pitch. Basketball. Volleyball. Bicycle hire. Weight training (on beach). Torches are essential.

Directions to Village Camping Marina di Rossano

From north take east coast highway (route 106 Ionica). Leave at Rossano exit. Football stadium on right. Look for Marina di Rossano sign. Drive across road and through gates. Follow long narrow road to site, taking care on final approach (challenging for large units). Can be reached by either west or east autostrada.
