This excellent site offers 60 large touring pitches that are positioned in the centre of an established and very spacious caravan holiday home park. The site is extremely well maintained and all 50 touring pitches are equipped with 10A electricity, TV point, water tap and a drain. In the centre of the site, and easily accessible to all, is an unsupervised lake with a sandy beach. An area at one end of the lake is set aside for ten pitches for adults only, all with views of the lake. Quiet is essential from 9 pm to 8 am.

There is an excellent bar and restaurant that offers a good range of dishes, with ‘specials’ at weekends. The site boasts good leisure facilities with three tennis courts and a nine-hole compact golf course. These, together with other recreational facilities, are positioned at the rear of the site and do not affect those looking for a peaceful holiday break in the unspoilt Suffolk countryside. Forty-five hectares of nearby woodland is also owned by the park.

Facilities at The Moon & Sixpence

Exceptionally well finished, centrally placed unisex sanitary block consists of 11 fully equipped private rooms containing a selection of WCs, washbasins, showers, baths and wet rooms. No specific accessible facilities for visitors but access to the block is via a ramp. Laundry facilities. Well stocked shop. Bar and restaurant (main season). TV room. Two adventure play areas. Dog walking trails. Lake with beach. Tennis. Golf. WiFi (free).

Directions to The Moon & Sixpence

From the A12 (Ipswich-Lowestoft) take third exit at roundabout, towards Waldringfield and follow signs to site. After one and a half miles, turn left at Waldringfield Golf Club to site, three-quarters of a mile on the left.
