The Camping de Collonges-la-Rouge is in Collonges-la-Rouge, a beautiful village in the Corrèze department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. It is just 0.8 km from the village centre, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. This well-maintained campsite has 68 touring pitches with electrical hook-up points available. Each pitch is large, demarcated, and surrounded by mature trees and hedges, giving each pitch plenty of privacy and shade during summer. There are also 37 various accommodation options to rent on-site.
Highlights of the campsite are that all guests can use the municipal swimming pool, which is located next to the campsite, free of charge. There is plenty there to keep all ages occupied, as there are slides and a paddling pool for the little ones. In high season, a kids' club is organised twice weekly, with various activities and creative crafts. The rest of the family can participate in various summer activities, such as fitness classes, yoga, aqua gym and tennis.
The village of Collonges-la-Rouge is a must-see, with its traditional red sandstone houses. There is also a market in Meyssac on Tuesdays and Fridays mornings, where you can buy fresh local produce. The train station in Turenne is 8 km away.
