Easily accessible from the autoroute (A9) and close to the town centre, this site has a total of 225 pitches. There are 185 for touring units, all with 6/10A electricity (long leads may be necessary) and most on level, grassy ground (some slope slightly). There are 18 pitches with some hardstanding for motorhomes. A number of trees provide some shade, although the site is fairly open allowing views of the surrounding mountains. Being close to the autoroute and located near an industrial area, the site can be quite noisy at times. With its ease of access and close proximity to shops, it makes a convenient night stop when travelling along the Rhône Valley for the Saint Bernard Pass.

Many campers use this site just for a night stop whilst in transit to and from Italy, but the Rhône Valley and the Valais region are well worth exploring. The many valleys running off the main through route are full of character and history, and this is one of Switzerland’s premier fruit growing areas. Wine lovers will enjoy local varieties and regret that hardly any are available for export.

Two sanitary buildings, one close to the entrance, the other at the far end. Showers are large and free, some washbasins in cabins, some with only cold water. Accessible Facilities. Baby room. Torches useful (the touring area is unlit).

Directions to TCS Camping Martigny

From A9 exit 22 (Martigny) follow signs for Expo. After leaving the autoroute, at first roundabout, site is signed. Follow signs carefully; entrance to site is at the rear, by the cemetery.
