Alan Rogers Review of Tahiti Camping & Terme Bungalow Park
Tahiti is an excellent, extremely well run, family owned site, thoughtfully laid out 800 m. from the sea (a continuous, fun road-train link is provided). An abundance of flowers and shrubs enhance its appearance. The 450 touring pitches are of varying sizes, back to back from hard roads, defined by trees with shade in most areas and all with 10A electricity. There are six types, from a basic pitch to those with kitchens plus a shower. Several languages, including English, are spoken by the friendly staff. The Thermal Oasis is luxurious and there is a 50% discount for campers. This award-winning site has a great atmosphere and everyone was cheerful when we visited.
The site is very busy in season with much coming and going, but all is always under control – it is superb, especially for families with children. The staff are smart and attentive. There are three superb swimming pools including Atoll Beach, a Caribbean style water-play fun area with palms, plus a jacuzzi, bar and terrace.

All toilet blocks are of a very high standard. British and squat style WCs. Accessible facilities, Baby room. Large supermarket, two restaurants, bar, pizzeria, takeaway, heated swimming pools (all season). Thermal Oasis (charged). Fitness and beauty centre. Several playgrounds and miniclub. Gym. Tennis. Floodlit sports area. Minigolf. Riding. Bicycle hire. Entertainment and excursions (high season). ‘Disco-pub’. ATM. WiFi on part of site (charged). Free transport to beach. Torches needed in some areas. Archery. Bowls. Dogs are only accepted from 12/5-19/6 and 28/8-18/9.
