Weisser Brunnen is a family campsite bordering Lake Mözener, close to the village of Wittenborn. It lies in the heart of the Schleswig-Holstein region, close to the Baltic Sea, in the triangle formed by Hamburg, Lübeck and Kiel. The site is popular with long-stay campers from the Hamburg area, as well as with other types of tourists, from cyclists to those with large motorhomes or caravans. There are around 400 level, grassy pitches (60 for touring), all with electricity and water. There is some shade from a variety of mature trees, and a few pitches benefit from views over the lake.

Bicycles are available for hire so that you can enjoy the surrounding countryside. You can relax on the lakeside beach or take advantage of the sporting facilities available. The nearby village of Bad Segeberg has one of Europe’s largest bat centres, and the Karl May 1870s Wild West extravaganza takes place every year in July and August in a huge, natural arena. New owners in 2019 promise many new developments and have already introduced a number of glamping options.

North of Hamburg, from A7 exit 24 head north towards Kiel for 32 km. Take exit 17, signed Bad Segeberg, follow D206 east for 20 km. to Wittenhorn. Site in 1 km. and well signed.
