A pleasant well kept site with modern facilities, this park is in one of England’s historic old Cinque Ports and within walking distance of all its attractions, shops and services. From the entrance barrier by reception, you drive through an area of caravan holiday homes (to rent and privately owned) to reach the two touring fields, which have 193 pitches, all on grass with 10A electric hook-ups. There are 81 multi-service pitches with electricity, TV, water and drain, nine of which have hardstanding. A railway runs along one side of the site and there is a little rail noise at times during the day, but it is quiet at night.

Wildlife is being encouraged in the newer second field by planting hedges and trees of native varieties and these will give greater privacy as they develop. The site is well lit at night and all roads are well surfaced. Children will love the large, fenced adventure playground with its tube slides etc. which is on a bark surface.

Stylish sanitary building provides washbasins in cubicles, controllable hot showers, plus a room which can be heated with some family suites and a full accessible sanitary suite. (Radar key). Laundry in reception building with washing machines, dryers, spin dryer and ironing facility. Adventure playground. Skateboarding, rollerblading, skating, scooters and cycling are not permitted on site. Caravan holiday homes to rent.

Directions to Sandwich Leisure Park

Sandwich is midway between Ramsgate and Deal, with access from the A256. The town’s streets are narrow and there is a one-way system in operation. Follow the brown campsite signs from anywhere in the town centre, the site is to the west of town, just after a railway level crossing.
