Riverbend Caravan Park is found on the banks of the River Banwy, a short distance from the popular town of Welshpool in the rural heart of Wales. The park is within a charming valley and offers brilliant views of the surrounding countryside and rugged hills, with the Cambrian Mountains nearby. On-site, 50 touring pitches with drainage, water and electric hook-up points are available at each pitch. Some are hard standing and are located right on the river. 

The site offers various amenities, including a children's play area, clean and well-maintained facilities with heated towel rails in the washrooms, and extensive fishing rights on the River Banwy. There is also a pub within walking distance serving hot food and local ales. The site is a great base for exploring the best of what Wales has to offer. Guests can enjoy walking, cycling, fishing, and paddling in the river. The site is also dog-friendly.

A 15-minute drive from the caravan park, Welshpool is a charming market town with a rich history. Here you can visit Powis Castle, a medieval castle that houses treasures brought back from India by Robert Clive. You can also explore the Powysland Museum or take a ride on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway, a narrow-gauge steam railway .
