The view from Bud Camping is over the sea and this part of the coast is known for its excellent fishing. Visitors to the campsite can choose from 150 pitches on grass or hardstandings, most with 16A electricity. The facilities on site are modern and very well maintained. The site is peaceful and is a haven for fishermen and boating enthusiasts with a variety of boats for hire. The town of Bud is close with shops, bars and restaurants. You can take walks along the coast, or just relax in an atmosphere of calm which the owners actively promote.

Bud grew in the Middle Ages to become the largest village between the towns of Trondheim and Bergen due to its protected position and good fishing grounds. It is no surprise therefore that the campsite’s facilities for fishing and boating are excellent with a well-protected marina and a variety of boats for hire covering a range of horsepower. Organised fishing trips are available. Apart from the sea fishing, the site has a trout pool which guests may use. The site’s shop has confectionery and ice cream sales but focuses on sales of fishing equipment and boating essentials.

Directions to PlusCamp Bud

From Molde and the E39, travel north using Rv 64 and Rv 663 to Elnesvågen and then Rv 664 to Bud. Site is signed on left approaching town after passing football pitches on right.
