Remnants of old thermal springs can be found at Parc d’Audinac Les Bains, a tranquil haven with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Owned by a charming French couple, you are guaranteed a friendly welcome on this site which has 60 touring pitches and 40 chalets for rent. The terraced touring pitches are mostly level, although some have a slight slope. They are on well-drained grass, and each has 10A electricity supplied. Water supplies are conveniently located for all pitches, as are the modern sanitary facilities. The bar and restaurant are popular with the locals in the low season.
The site swimming pool is situated next to the old thermal rooms. It is fairly basic, but a good size. It is very well used, and although it is not heated, it reaches good temperatures in the height of summer. In July and August a children’s club (4-12 yrs) provides organised games and other activities, while adults and older children are well catered for with sports facilities and evening soirées. The principality of Andorra is just 95 km. by road. There are many prehistoric caves and underground rivers in the area, ideal for cooling down on a hot summer’s day. The local produce market at Saint-Girons is on Saturdays (3 km).

Two small bright and modern toilet blocks (one unisex) with hot and cold water to showers and washbasins. British and squat style WCs. Accessible facilities, Washing machines. Motorhome services. Good sized outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool with WCs, showers and changing facilities. Bar (1/4-30/9). Snacks (1/4-30/9). Small shop for drinks and ice-creams (June-Sept) in the old thermal spring building adjacent to the pool. Children’s club (July/Aug). Tennis. Boules. Sports area. Volleyball. Trampoline. Bicycle hire. Fishing.

From St Girons take D117 towards Foix. Turn left on D627 signed St Croix and Merigon. Site is on the right just after Audinac-les-Bains.
