Longfield Caravan Park is located on the Dorset Hampshire border between the neighbouring market towns of Christchurch and Ringwood. We are close to the local Blue Flag sandy beaches of Bournemouth and the New Forest is right on the doorstep. The site is reasonably level and has 20 grass and gravel hard standing pitches suitable for motorhomes, caravans, camper vans or trailer tents. The site has been under the same family ownership for over 40 years and has many regular returning visitors. At peak-times it is advisable to book in advance to ensure a pitch.

Locally golf, fishing, riding, bowls, boating, sailing, tennis and skiing, together with a range of other activities at the Littledown and Christchurch Leisure Centres. A wide choice of films and live shows are generally available at Bournemouth, Poole and Southampton Mayflower Theatre. Within a 20 mile radius are Southampton, Salisbury, Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, and the Isle of Wight. The Christchurch Snowtrax Centre is situated some 400 metres from the site entrance. There is an Alpine Bar which serves meals and beverages throughout the day.

Facilities at Longfield Caravan Park

On site facilities include toilets, showers, hand-basins with hot and cold water, shaver and hairdryer points. Accessible sanitary facilities. Chemical toilet point. A small laundry room has a deep sink with hot and cold water, spinner, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Gas sales. Large solar heated swimming pool for the exclusive use of residents. Caravan storage and have a limited number of seasonal pitches. TV reception good. Pets allowed. Dog walk. Charge for pets and awnings. No tents allowed.

Directions to Longfield Caravan Park

M27 Westbound from Portsmouth & Southampton A31 signposted The West, Poole, Bournemouth. Continue on A31 at the second roundabout take 1st exit onto Boundary Lane, continue to the end and at the T-junction turn right onto Matchams Lane. After approx. 2 miles the site is on the right. Heading west on the A31 – after Ringwood fly over with the A338 take the exit B3081 signposted Verwood/Matchams. Turn first left toward Hurn Road/Matchams Lane. Continue for approx. 3.6 miles the site is on the right.
