This very attractive and spacious, riverside site has been run by a friendly family since 1965. It has 174 pitches, with 150 for touring (6A electricity), arranged over two sections either side of a road. The two parts are connected by a short underpass under the river bridge. One section is adjacent to the bar, restaurant and good pool with mountain views. The pitches are of larger than average size with some shade and are separated by shrubs and trees. The lower section, closer to the river, is less formally laid out with mature trees offering plenty of shade and with access to the beach area.

This site would make a comfortable base to explore the interesting historic area on the edge of the Vercors National Park. It offers good opportunities for walking, cycling canoeing and other outdoor activities. The pretty hillside villages, waiting to be explored, sit amongst vineyards and fields of lavender and sunflowers. This area is also well known for its sparkling wine, Clairette de Die and there are several caves in the vicinity where local wines may be tasted.

Four well appointed, very clean toilet blocks including good facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry. Good motorhome services. Bar/restaurant (1/5-25/9) with simple menu and takeaway service. Heated swimming pool (1/5-30/9). Small play area. Kids club, Football pitch. Boules. Bicycle hire. Electric and gas barbecues only. Glamping, WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Gervanne Camping

Leave A7 autoroute at exit 16 for Loriol. Take D104 then D164 bypassing Crest. After 6 km, at roundabout, turn left on D164A. Cross river into Mirabel-et-Blacons, left at roundabout, site in 200 m.
