Le Kergariou is a pleasant family site close to the pretty village of Clohars-Carnoët, and is located around a mile from the beach. There are 100 grassy pitches here and most have electrical connections. The site boasts an attractive swimming pool with an adjoining paddling pool, and also has a football pitch and well equipped play area. A number of mobile homes and chalets are available to rent. The pretty, and typically Breton, port of Doëlan is around 1.5 km. away and has proved a popular film location. The larger resort of Le Pouldu is also close at hand.

This is picture postcard Brittany. Beautiful little villages and traces of Gauguin and his impressionist colleagues. For walkers the superb long distance hiking path, the GR34, leads around the harbour of Doëlan and onward to the west, towards further tiny ports. Thanks to a lack of roads, this is a most peaceful way to enjoy some wonderful coastal scenery. Doëlan maintains a small fishing fleet and the catch is landed daily at around 17:00 – a great opportunity to buy some fresh fish.

One modern toilet block has a baby room and accessible facilities. Family shower room. Washing machines and dryers. No shop, but bread can be ordered. Swimming pool (15/6-30/8). Paddling pool. Games room. Play area. Sports field. Mobile homes and caravans to rent. Bicycle hire.

Directions to Flower Camping le Kergariou

Approaching from the north (N165) leave at the Quimperlé exit (D28) and head south on D16 to Clohars-Carnoët. Continue on D16 towards Doëlan and you will see the site before reaching Doëlan.
