Flower Camping de la Rochelambert is an attractive and welcoming site can be found in the heart of Auvergne. Extending over four hectares, it is located at the foot of the Château de la Rochelambert and is bordered by a river and a wooded nature trail. There are 79 large pitches here (120 sq.m), mostly well shaded and equipped with 16A electricity. Twelve riverside pitches (no electricity) are perfect for anglers, and the site has a special hut for storing tackle and bait. A number of good quality timber chalets are for rent. The emphasis here is on peace and tranquillity in an idyllic natural setting, and for this reason, the site is run along very environmentally friendly lines.

Activities in high season include children’s workshops, treasure hunts, themed meals and outdoor cinema. On-site amenities include a snack bar and small shop. The nearby village of Saint Paulien has a good range of shops and other facilities. There are many mountain bike and walking trails in the area and the site’s friendly owners will be pleased to make recommendations. This campsite is well run and tidily maintained and prides itself on offering a place in the countryside with easy access to nature. The château can be seen above the trees at the entrance to the campsite and is open for visiting.

Site is north of Le Puy-en-Velay. From there, head north on N102 and turn onto D906 signed St Paulien from where the château and the site are well signed.
