Castel Camping Domaine de la Bergerie is an excellent site near the Côte d’Azur, which will take you away from all the bustle of the Mediterranean to total relaxation amongst the cork, oak, pine and mimosa in its woodland setting whilst only ten minutes away from the sea. This is a top-quality site a few km inland from the coast, but you will have no reason to leave this site. It does offer everything for the perfect family holiday. Access is excellent and check-in efficient with English spoken, and you are then taken to your pitch by one of the team, who will assist you in settling in.

The 60-hectare site is well spread out with semi-landscaped areas for mobile homes and 200 separated pitches for touring caravans and tents. All pitches average over 80 sq.m. and have electricity, with one area also having water and drainage. Eight premium pitches with cabins equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom have been added. The site is large on a sloping hillside. However, all pitches are level, and all facilities are easily accessible. Facilities were very modern, cleaned several times a day, and were checked regularly. The restaurant/bar, a converted farm building, is surrounded by shady patios; inside, it oozes character with beams and archways leading to intimate corners.

On-site, you will find the entertainment centre around the very large waterpark with four large pools and waterslides. There are also several areas for relaxation, and the site also offers a spa and wellness centre which offers a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, massage, reflexology and gym. restaurant/takeaway/rotisserie, bar well-stocked supermarket, even a mini farm and ranch.

A centre stage provides an area to deliver a very high standard of entertainment in the evening; shows, cabarets, discos, cinema, karaoke and dancing at the amphitheatre prove popular (possibly until midnight).

Indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Outdoor pool complex, aquagym, slides & paddling pools. Fitness centre. Bicycle hire. Tennis. Archery. Roller skating. Minigolf. English-speaking children & teenagers clubs. Minifarm. Fishing. Paintball (July/Aug). WiFi throughout (charged). Only gas barbecues are permitted.

Directions to Domaine de la Bergerie

Leave A8 at Le Muy, exit on DN7 towards Frejus. After 9 km. turn south to Roquebrune on D7. Proceed for a further 5 km. then at roundabout turn south west on D8 signed St Aygulf. Continue for 2 km. to site on the right.
