This campsite, open all year round, is set on the edge of Lake Dümmer, just 5 minutes from the little town of Lembruch and in a pleasant rural area. There's a sandy beach and various water sports on offer, including fishing, sailing, surfing and canoeing. There is also boat rental on site. In winter, the Dümmer See is transformed into a snowy winter landscape, and locals skate and play ice hockey on the frozen lake.
The campsite welcomes pets and provides a guide to local trails and dog walks, and there are plenty of quiet country lanes to walk and cycle along. DümmerWeserLand is popular with equestrian fans for its 300 km network of bridle paths through the heathland and surrounding countryside.
There are 50 touring pitches for long and short-term camping. The pitches are level, grassy and open but well-demarcated with hedging. Various long paths are suited to guests with mobility issues. You will find everything you need with a snack bar, shop and restaurant.
