Camping Am Niemetal is a charming family site in the middle of Germany has all the facilities you need for a wonderful holiday amid nature. The kids club organises all kinds of activities for children. Adults can enjoy the barbecue evenings and lovely nature for hikes and cycling tours. Surrounded by meadows and forests, you are really spending your holiday amid nature.

The site is named after the Nieme river flowing through the valley. This river is very narrow and shallow in some spots, which is fun for young and old for playing and cooling off on a warm summer day. On both sides of the river there are many trees and bushes, so you are amid nature. A predominant feature of the site is the amount of greenery. The pitches are located on both sides of the river and are about 100 m2. There is a separate field reserved for tents. The site has 75 grass touring pitches with 16amp hook-up point. 2 Log cabins and a tent are available to hire.

The location of the site, the cycling and walking possibilities, the visits to sleepy villages with picturesque houses and the university town of Gottingen will make your visit a success. The hospitality and helpfulness of the Dutch owners is remarkable. On arrival they will welcome you with a cup of coffee and extensive information about the area. As soon as you leave the valley, you have a lovely view of the surrounding area. Lovely German towns such as Hannoversch Münden with many half-timbered houses and the university town of Göttingen are close by.

Directions to Campingplatz Am Niemetal

From the A7 Hannover-Kassel take exit 73 Gottingen B3 in the direction of Dransfeld. From Dransfeld take L559 to Imbsen. Next turn left towards Niemetal and Löwenhagen. The site is then signed on the right off this road after leaving the village.
