Alan Rogers Review of Camping Village Oasi
Camping Oasi is a traditional, friendly, family site where many Italian families return for the summer – you could certainly practise your Italian language skills here. The family owners will make you feel very welcome. The 100 flat, grass pitches for touring units are in separate areas from the permanent units, and have the choice of shade or sun, all have 6A electricity, water and drainage. The private, soft sand beach has a second bar and restaurant, umbrellas and loungers, plus all manner of watersports. This tardis of a site has a huge range of holiday options for families.
The touring pitches are near this beach access and some have views of the river leading to the sea. The site has two restaurants – try the seafood, it is excellent! An entertainment team works with children through the day in high season, culminating in a show outside the restaurant in the evening. We recommend a bicycle trip to the ancient fishing city of Chioggia. It resembles a mini-Venice with its narrow streets and canals. By night it has a very special charm.
Facilities at Camping Village Oasi
Two clean sanitary blocks with mostly British style toilets and free hot showers. Facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Private cabins (€5/day). Pleasant swimming pool and paddling pool with flumes (disability hoist available). Adventure play area. Multisports pitch. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Riding. Watersports. Marina with secure parking for motorhomes and caravans with boats. Fishing. Late arrival area. WiFi on part of site (charged). Communal barbecue area.
Directions to Camping Village Oasi
Site is off the S309 south of Chioggia. Follow signs to Sottomarina, crossing Laguna del Lusenzo, then look for site signs. Site off this road (Viale Mediterranneo) to the right. Site is at end of this narrow road.
