Convenient for the ferry port at Calais, this is a peaceful little site with 84 pitches. Many are taken by privately owned holiday homes, but there are 34 pitches for touring units. In a garden-like setting, they are individual and grassy with some shade. Electricity hook-ups (6A) are available for all. In high season, the site is usually full by 17.00, so arrive early. A good centre for visiting many World War One and Two sites at Ypres, the local Eperlecques Blockhaus (V2) and La Coupole V2 museum in nearby Saint Omer.

Toilet block with free showers, washbasins and changing table. Accessible facilities, Washing machine. Motorhome services. Shop, Bread fresh to order. A greengrocer calls Saturday morning. Snack bar and takeaway (1/5-9 /9). Playground. Games room. WiFi (free).
Directions to Camping Saint-Louis
From Calais take N43 to Ardres. At traffic lights, on through town and left on D224 (Autingues). Site on right. From St Omer, follow N43 north until Le Plat d’Or, turn left on local road. Site signed.
