This popular tourist area can become very busy during summer when Romantische Strasse will be greatly appreciated for its peaceful situation in a wooded valley just outside the small village of Münster. There are 100 grass touring pitches (out of 140), many level, others with a small degree of slope. They are not hedged or fenced, in order to keep the natural appearance of the woodland. All the pitches have electricity (6A), some shade and are situated either side of a stream (fenced off from a weir at the far end of the site). Twenty-seven fully serviced pitches are on higher ground near reception.

Having already built a new reception, renovated the pool, sauna, solarium and changing rooms and made an open-air chess and boules area, the friendly, English-speaking owners are looking to further develop the area by the lake. Birdwatchers will be interested that the white-throated dipper is regularly seen here. The village of Münster is on a scenic road just 3 km. from Creglingen and the 100 km. long Tauber valley cycle route and about 16 km. from the beautiful town of Rothenburg on the Tauber, which is very popular in high season.

The two main sanitary blocks are of good quality with free hot water. A third unit further into the site is due for refurbishment. Launderette. Motorhome services. Small shop (1/4-9/11). Gas supplies. Large, pleasant bar/restaurant at the entrance (1/4-9/11, closed Mon). Barbecue and covered sitting area. Heated indoor swimming pool (caps required) and sauna. Minigolf. Play area. Bicycle hire. Four mobile homes for hire. WiFi (charged).
