Situated on the Adriatic coast, 400 metres from the beach, Camping Riccione is a rather noisy, bustling campsite with a distinct Italian flavour and may appeal to families with children. There are 417 touring pitches of varying sizes of which 100 are provided with water and drainage. The vast amount of trees provides shade, but they make manoeuvring difficult for some and especially for larger units. Road and rail noise is apparent on one side of the site. A pleasant pool area includes a small lagoon for children, and the poolside bar serves light snacks.b>

A professional team of entertainers provide activities for children throughout the day along with organised games and competitions. A mini-train runs during the day and evening to the beach and town and is free to campers.

Five toilet blocks are kept clean. WCs are mostly British style but some require maintenance. Three accessible wet rooms. Facilities for children and babies. Washing machines. Motorhome services. Supermarket. Two lively bars with TV. Restaurant and pizzeria with large terrace. Pool complex with waterfall and poolside bar/snacks. Games room. Entertainment programme in season. Site is in the town of Riccione, south of Rimini. From A14 take road to Riccione and then S16 southeast to Riccione. Site is well signed in the town.
