Camping Pierre et Sources Only camp is in the foothills of Europe's most significant volcanic complex, right in the heart of the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne. This modern campsite serves as an ideal base for exploring the stunning volcanic landscapes of the region. Located in the charming town of Volvic, renowned for its mineral water, the campsite offers easy access to the town's springs and impressive caves. Its convenient location next to the D986 makes it a perfect stopover for travellers.
The campsite's 56 touring pitches, each with 16Amp electric hook up points, are strategically located on a sloping terrain transformed into flat terraces. This unique layout offers campers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Tournoël Castle. While the D986 may generate some traffic noise, the pitches on the left side of the site (with the reception behind you) provide a peaceful retreat, ensuring a tranquil camping experience.
To combat the region's summer heat, Camping Pierre et Sources Only camp introduced a swimming pool in 2024. The outdoor pool offers a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. Beach volleyball, table tennis, and two playgrounds are available for outdoor enthusiasts. When the weather isn't cooperative, the campsite's recreation room provides entertainment with table football, books, and board games.
