Alan Rogers Review of Camping Naturiste le Mas de Lignières
A quiet, rural naturist site hidden in the hills of the Minervois, only 3 km. from the medieval town of Minerve. There are marvellous views to the Pyrenees, the Corbières and the coast at Narbonne. The site now has just 20 very large pitches (electricity 6/10A) and six caravan holiday homes. Mainly on level grass, they are separated by mature hedges which give considerable privacy.
There is natural shade and a variety of flora and fauna including four types of orchid, and a warm welcome from Jeanne and her family. Her son is now qualified to accompany those interested on walking trips to the mountains. Within the confines of the seven hectare site there are some good walks with superb views and, although the camping area is actually quite small, the very large pitches create a very relaxing ambience and a nice introduction to naturist camping. We recommend that you watch at least one wonderful sunrise over the Pyrénées and visit Minerve perched on its rock. It is a must for its crafts, wine and Cathar history.

Clean toilet block has open washbasins and showers, Accessible facilities. Washing machine. Bread (15/6-15/9). Swimming pool, sliding cover for use when cold. Paddling pool. Room for general use with TV, library, separate provision for young visitors. Playground. Tennis. Boules. Torch useful. WiFi (free). Only gas barbecues are permitted.
Directions to Camping Naturiste le Mas de Lignières
From A61 take exit for Lézignan-Corbières, D611 to Homps, then D910 to Olonzac. Through village following signs to Minerve (D10). Continue. 4 km. Turn left to Cesseras (D168). At Cesseras follow signs Fauzan for 4 km. (site signed) on right, narrow, winding road.
