This rather basic campsite adjoins and is part of the Hotel Miran. One hundred of the 140 small touring pitches have 6A electricity, trees provide some shade and there is some attempt at pitch separation by concrete blocks laid out in lines on the grass. Facilities on the site are basic and, although clean, the centre of one toilet block is open-roofed and in need of some renovation. A pebble beach serves the campsite and hotel, but many of the pitches nearest the beach are taken by the mobile homes that are available to rent, so access is restricted.

From the boat jetty the tree-lined pebble beach curves round to the hotel complex with its restaurant and buffet bar. All hotel facilities are available for use by camping guests, including an enclosed swimming pool near the hotel restaurant. During July and August, there are activity programmes for children. As along most of the Dalmation coast, there are superb offshore and coastal views over crystal clear water. Pirovac only 1 km. from the site is famous for its cultural and music events and is well worth visiting.

Facilities at Camping Miran

Well ventilated but basic sanitary block with free hot showers, WCs, washbasins and accessible sanitary facilities . Shop, restaurant, bar and takeaway at the hotel, together with a swimming pool. Play area. Teenagers’ club. TV room. Windsurfing, sailing and fishing are all possible. Day excursions are organised by the hotel to Sibenik, Zandar and the national parks.

Directions to Camping Miran

Miran is 1 km. north of Pirovac. From the A1/E65 take exit 59 and drive 22 km. south. At the junction with road 8 turn right to Pirovac. Hotel Miran and campsite are well signed from the main road No 8, 1 km. north of Pirovac.
