This small, neat, family owned site (since 1962) is well located, being the closest site to the Punta Sabbioni ferry to Venice. The site provides a free bus service to the ferry and to the local beach. It has an unusually long season compared with other sites in the area. Miramare is ideally located for exploring Venice and its islands, as well as the Lido di Venezia. There are 100 level pitches here, all with 6A electricity. The shop is superb for a small site and the restaurant, 50 m. out of the gate, is renowned for its excellent regional meals.

The restaurant has an Internet terminal and WiFi is available over part of the site. Everywhere is kept very clean and most pitches have shade from mature trees and are level. Ask about the campsite logo – the Venetian iron – very interesting, and about the local flamingos, which from time to time appear in winter!

Facilities at Camping Miramare

Two toilet blocks (one heated in low season) with accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Excellent supermarket/shop. Bar, restaurant and pizzas from the oven in the restaurant. Outdoor swimming pool, Takeaway. Library. Play area. Bicycle hire. Dogs are only accepted on 15 specific pitches. Free shuttle bus to Punta Sabbioni square (departure point for trips to Venice and the islands) and to the nearest beach (free sun umbrellas). Internet point. WiFi (charged). Barbecues on pitches not permitted.

Directions to Camping Miramare

Leave the A4 autostrada at exit for Venezia Mestre and follow signs to Jesolo and Punta Sabbioni, where the site is clearly signed.
