The pitches at Camping Mauterndorf are a great size and surrounded by mountains from all angles, and the staff are helpful and efficient. One of the greatest benefits of this site is that for the duration of your stay, you get a Lungau Card which entitles you to a series of free and discounted activities within the area, such as Großeckbahn Cable Car, which normal price would set you back €16 per person for a return journey - with your card you get a one-time free trip. Panoramic views await you at the top, with hikes galore and Austrian hospitality at its best.

This is a fabulous place to stay and is highly recommended. The site has around 160 grass/hardstanding touring pitches with 12amp hook-up points. There are also Mobile homes, bungalows and apartments available to hire.

Due to the perfect location of the site in the middle of the mountains, the Lungau is perfect for a summer holiday. Enjoy the central location directly at the cable car during summer and start hiking fun. An outdoor pool, action-packed activities & exciting excursion destinations await you here in Salzburger Land.

Directions to Camping Mauterndorf

From the A10 Tauernautobahn take exit 104 St. Michael im Lungau. Now join B96 to Michael im Lungau. At the roundabout join the B99 to the north, Mauterndorf. The site is the on the left off this road. Alternatively, from the north, Salzburg on E55/A10 leave at junction 60 Eben to join B99/B320 to Radstadt and continue on B99 to Obertauern and Mauterndorf. The site is then on the right just before Mauterndorf.
