Alan Rogers Review of Camping Maslina
Camping Maslina is an all-year site located on the main Montenegro coastal road, south of the large holiday resort of Budva in Buljarica, just 2 kms from Petrovac. This main connecting road runs all the way down from the Bay of Kotor to Ulcinj, with its pretty bay and old town and the border of Albania. The site has a peaceful setting amongst 300-year-old Olive trees with other varieties, such as oaks, ash and elm trees which provide welcome shade on the pitches from the strong sunlight and heat in the summer months.
A short walk through the site and out through the bottom gate takes you down to the black sandy and stone beach, where you can find a restaurant, beach bar and, sun loungers and parasols to rent. In the surrounding area, there are lots to visit. Budva and Bar, two of Montenegro's biggest coastal resorts, are easy to reach for a day trip, and even the bay of Kotor and the old town of Kotor are only 42 km north on the coastal road. The site has 100 grass pitches with a 10-amp hook-up point.
Sveti Stefan a mediaeval village with its causeway across to the land is only 12 kms from the site. The Skadar National Park is just over an hour’s drive and here, you can take an organised boat trip ranging from 40 mins to 4 hrs long and gaze upon the mountains in the distance and the fantastic wildlife closeby. It's a fabulous natural and unspoilt place and not to be missed.

Directions to Camping Maslina
From Budva head south on E65/E80 to Buljarrica 12.5 miles. In the town turn right at Restoran Magazini towards Buljarica BB. Pass by Budva Tourist information point (on the right). Turn left at Stop & Shop onto Buljarica BB. The site is then on the right.
