Close to the coastal town of Marsala in western Sicily, best known for its fortified wine, Lilybeo Village is a small, family-friendly campsite within easy reach of the attractive coastline, vineyards, and olive groves of Trapani Province. There are just 40 spacious, grassy pitches with shade provided by mature trees. The area for motorhomes is more open, yet with some shade from olive trees. The beach of Lido Signorino is easily accessible by bicycle or car, as is the historic town of Marsala. Several nature reserves and archaeological sites are along the coast to the north and east.
Marsala has an archaeological museum with a preserved Phoenician warship, a range of shops, bars and restaurants, and a ‘cantine’ selling local wines directly from the vat. You can take a twenty-minute boat trip from Marsala to the beautiful Egadi Islands. Along the Tyrrhenian coast, you can visit the city of Trapani, the medieval town of Erice, the ancient hilltop site of Segesta and bustling Palermo with its vibrant street markets.

Directions to Camping Lilybeo Village
Marsala is 125 km. southwest of Palermo. Ferries run from Genoa to Palermo. From there, head west, then south on A29 to exit for Mazara del Vallo and continue west on SS115 for about 10 km. towards Marsala. At second traffic lights in Contrada Cuore di Gesù turn right, then left at roundabout to site on right.
