Alan Rogers Review of Camping les Vignes
Arbois, the town where Louis Pasteur spent much of his life, lies in Jura, a region famous for its wines, cheeses and centuries-old salt production. Camping Les Vignes is an attractive, well shaded site lying between a vineyard and a sports arena which includes a large swimming complex (free entry to campers). This provides a sun terrace, bar and three separate pools, the largest of which is 50 metres long. Most of the 139 pitches have 10A electricity are on fairly level terraces and separated by hedges. Pitches are of grass, gravel or tarmac.
The site is in a quiet location, the only noise during the day coming from the swimming pool or from other areas of the sports complex.
Facilities at Camping les Vignes
Two sanitary blocks (entry to some toilets from outside). Free preset showers and washbasins in cabins with warm water. Accessible facilities. Baby room. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Small shop in reception with essentials, larger shop on site July/Aug. Play area.
Directions to Camping les Vignes
Site is on the eastern edge of Arbois. Leave Arbois on the D107 towards Mesnay After 900 m. turn left at sign for Piscine and Camping.
