Alan Rogers Review of Camping les Trois Lacs
This pleasant rural site is hidden from the road and set in natural wooded surroundings beside a river. It is conveniently positioned to reach all three lakes in the area, each famous for its watersports and activities. Of the 100 pitches, 65 are for touring units (all with 10A electricity) on large, well spaced pitches separated by hedges and mature trees. Many are next to the river, although not the whole bank is fenced, so caution is advised. It is possible to fish from the river.
Despite the air of tranquillity here, there is plenty on site to occupy the whole family. Three pools include a fun paddling pool and a separate slide pool; moreover, the children’s play area is close to the bar so that parents can keep a watchful eye. The quiet villages around will provide rewarding visits. Each of the three nearby lakes has a specific function so that fishermen and children in inflatables do not compete for water space. The nearest of these is Lac d’Aiguebelette with beach and sunbathing facilities. The friendly Dutch owner speaks excellent English.

Three sanitary blocks are supplemented by small units with WCs around the site. Well equipped showers. Special new block for children. Excellent accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Shop, bar and restaurant (full menu in high season) and takeaway (1/6-1/9). Three swimming pools (all season). Tennis courts. Volleyball. TV and sports hall. Family evenings. Chalets and rooms to rent. Access to all three lakes 15 km. WiFi.
