Camping Les Prés Verts aux 4 Sardines is situated directly on the southern coast of Brittany, in the hilly region of Finistère; you have direct access not only to the GR 34 but to a splendid sandy beach. The site overlooks the blue waters of Concarneau Bay, one of France's most famed fishing ports. It's excellently set up for days around the site with a pool and a paddling pool (both heated in July and August), a play area, two table tennis tables and a miniature golf course that is free to use if you have golf balls and clubs. A giant chess set is next to the swimming pools too. The site has 140 grass pitches, of which 104 are for touring units, 10-amp hook-up points, 29 are seasonal, and there are 11 mobile homes available to hire.

Nearby you will find a bakery, supermarket and petrol station. Bag the freshest catches of local tuna and sardines three kilometres away at Concarneau, at the daily fish market and the markets on Tuesday and Friday mornings.

The GR 34 path is acclaimed as one of the most attractive in France, this spectacular coastal stretch runs for a full 1,800 kilometres along the Brittany coast, following the 18th-century customs route set up to foil local smugglers.

Directions to Camping Les Prés Verts aux 4 Sardines

From the N165/E60 take exit 51 towards Concarneau. Join the D70 until just before centre of Concarneau. Then continue in the direction of Les Sables Blancs as far as the sea. Then in the direction of Fouesnant. The site is then signed and is on the fourth street on the left.
