Open all year, this site is in the heart of the Eure valley close to the small village of Villiers le Morheir. It has 158 pitches, many used for mobile homes and bungalows, but leaving about 45 pitches for touring units, all with 6A electricity and a good supply of water taps. Most of the pitches are separated by well trimmed hedges, only a few have shade. Some may be muddy in wet weather. There is no restaurant or bar on the site but a good bar is in the village. Those looking for a quiet site in this most attractive area without the ‘animation’ programmes that so many French sites feature will find this a peaceful base.
It would also be a handy stopover for those travelling north or south as it is close to the motorway system. A swimming pool is planned.

Three modern toilet blocks with some washbasins in cubicles. Accessible facilities (no shower). Washing machine. Bread can be ordered at reception at all times. New play area. Boules. Tennis. Security barrier operated by key fob from reception. Mobile homes and bungalows to rent. Caravan storage.
Directions to Camping les Îlots de Saint Val
From south leave A11 at exit 3 and join N10. then N 123 to follow ring road clockwise around Chartres. Join D906 to Maintenon then D983 towards Nojent-le-Roi. In 5 km. turn left on D101 and follow site signs.
