As its name suggests, this site is located deep within the spectacular Tarn gorges, close to the pretty village of Mostuéjouls. There are 110 spacious and shady pitches here, some of which enjoy river frontage. Most of the 90 touring pitches have 10A electrical connections.
Site facilities include a swimming pool and children’s play area, as well as a private river beach. The Tarn gorges are always a popular choice for adventure sports and the site is a good base for canoeing, walking, rock climbing and canyoning. Canoe trips can be booked on-site.
Mostuéjouls is a delightful village lying at the confluence of the Tarn and the Jonte. There are a number of restaurants and cafés along its narrow streets. There is a great deal to see in the area.
Highlights include the caves at Aven Armand and the odd rock formations at Montpellier-le-Vieux. It is a great spot for mountain biking and the site’s friendly owners will be keen to recommend routes.

The sanitary block is equipped with modern facilities including accessible facilities. Small laundry. Motorhome services. Shop and bar (all season). Snacks and restaurant (July/Aug). Games room. Heated, outdoor swimming pool. Small play area. Volleyball. Boules. Fishing. Boat launching. Canoe hire. Activity and entertainment programme. Direct access to river. Mobile homes and caravans to rent. Electric barbecues are not permitted. Free WiFi throughout.
Directions to Camping les Bords du Tarn
Mostuéjouls can be found half way along the Tarn gorges. Leave the A75 autoroute at exit 43 and head east on D995 as far as Le Massegros. Then head south on D32 to Boyne and then follow signs along the Tarn to Mostuéjouls and follow signs to the site.
