Part of the Campéole group, Camping le Sagone is situated outside the bustling seaside resort of Sagone, surrounded by protective hills. This campsite, which used to be a fruit farm, is in an ideal location for exploring Corsica’s wild and rocky west coast or its mountainous interior. The large site borders a pleasant river and has 230 shaded pitches, with 6A electricity and water. The restaurant/bar and new snack bar overlook the modern pool and they are the focal point of this well managed site. The site provides an amazing array of sports and specialises in sports activities for groups in the low season.

This peaceful, cheerful site is well suited to families and you will have the chance to practice your French or Corsican language skills. Entertainment takes place in the central area by the pool during the high season. There are 143 bungalows to rent, which are generally separate from the camping areas.

Facilities at Camping le Sagone

Clean, fully equipped toilet blocks with washbasins in cubicles (one block was closed when we visited, May 2015, and in need of attention). Accessible facilities. Baby baths. Washing machines, dryers. Motorhome services. Restaurant, pizzeria, bar. Swimming pools (June-Sept). Superb sports facilities. Fully equipped gymnasium. Tennis. Play area. Barbecues are not permitted. Satellite TV. WiFi (charged). Car wash. Putting and senior golf practice area.

Directions to Camping le Sagone

From Ajaccio take the RD81 towards Cergése and Calvilby (by coast road). In Sagone take RD70 towards Vico, Sagone can be found on left after 1.5 km. next to supermarket.
