Camping Le Rey en Vallée d'Ossau is a small, terraced site at the foot of the Pyrenees. There are only 38 grass touring pitches with 10-amp hook-up points, which are spacious and sheltered, surrounded by trees, and offer a view of the surrounding mountains. Eighteen pods, cosy oval wooden houses, or comfortable lodge tents are also available to hire. You can see that the owners have spent plenty of time and care looking after this site. Paved cycle paths take you through the elongated site, separating the mobile homes and the camping pitches.

On-site facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool and a paddling pool for the smaller members to splash about in. In July and August, plenty of activities are regularly organised at the site, including creative crafts for the kids, and there are also teen activities too. You can take part in pleasant paella evenings, which are also held regularly, where the famous dish of the southern neighbours takes centre stage. There are also evening markets held on site which sell regional products. If you don't want to venture outside the site whilst staying here, the opposite has a restaurant and bar where you can enjoy refreshing drinks and local French dishes. A daily bread service also offers fresh pastries and traditional French bread, perfect for enjoying breakfast at your pitch.

The campsite is located in a great Central location to see the sights of the Pyrenees or as a stopover for on your way to Spain via the Col de Pourtalet. Please phone if arriving in winter after 6pm.

Directions to Camping Le Rey en vallée d'Ossau

From the A64/E80 leave at junction 10 and follow signs for Pau and Gan. At Gan Join the D934 to Louvie-Juzon. In the town turn left to join the D35. Start following site signs about 400 metres after village. The site is on the left after a sharp U turn in the road.
