Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Pré Cathare
This quiet, neat site is adjacent to the municipal swimming pool and sports complex. It has a very nice modern sanitary unit with an open central atrium containing a well tended flowerbed. There are 100 neatly numbered grassy level pitches, about half separated by hedges, some very private, and most have electricity (15A). A notice board at reception gives details of entertainment and local activities and there is a small library. Torches are necessary here and unusually dogs are allowed to run free. We see this as a stopover site or somewhere to relax in peace with no frills.

The sanitary block provides mostly British style toilets, washbasins (a few in cubicles), pushbutton showers (no divider) and an accessible toilet/washbasin cubicle. Laundry facilities. Minigolf. Archery. Barbecue areas. Mini farm, Outdoor swimming pool, Entertainment area, Children's play area, Shop, Snack Bar, Bar, WIFI.
Directions to Camping le Pré Cathare
Lavelanet is 27 km. east of Foix. The site is just off the D117 at the western end of the town, signed at the entrance to town.
